What it involves
A virtual machine with processor, memory and disk genuinely reserved for you, not shared. It includes an up-to-date operating system, a daily backup with retention, monitoring, patching and administration on our side. It scales up live as the business grows, with nothing to migrate.
Backups and recovery. Daily backup with 30 days of retention, stored outside the server itself. You can go back to how the system was yesterday or three weeks ago, which is what actually matters when a deletion or an encryption is noticed late. Restores are tested: a backup that has never been restored is worth nothing.
Growing without migrating. Memory and processor are expanded live when the operating system allows it, and the disk grows without stopping the service. Larger jumps are done with a scheduled restart outside your working hours, agreed in advance. What you will not have to do is build a new server and move the data across because the business grew.
